Dr. Balis:
Dr. Balis speaking.
Mr. Landau:
Doctor, it's George.
Dr. Balis:
George. I didn't expect to hear from you so soon. Are you okay? You sound upset.
Mr. Landau:
My stomach certainly is.
Dr. Balis:
What happened?
Mr. Landau:
I didn't make it to the training course. I got a cab but I had to get him to stop half way. I was sick on the sidewalk. The driver didn't care, it just irritated him. I paid him off and found a cafe to sit down in for a while.
Dr. Balis:
Are you feeling better now?
Mr. Landau:
A little. But I feel very dejected. I really thought it would be different this time. I really did. Of course you tried to warn me.
Dr. Balis:
Would you like to come in for a session this afternoon?
Mr. Landau:
To be honest, Doctor, I just feel like going to my bed.
Dr. Balis:
Well, perhaps you should do just that. Our session can wait until next week.
Mr. Landau:
Could we make it the next week again? I feel like I need to do a lot of thinking on my own.
Dr. Balis:
Are you still considering leaving therapy?
Mr. Landau:
No, no, don't worry. Exactly how right you were was illustrated in glorious color on the street a little earlier.
Dr. Balis:
I'll hold that thought. We can make it the following week if you like. I have some suggestions to make regarding where to go from here.
Mr. Landau:
Okay. I'll be ready.
Dr. Balis:
That's Monday the 21st at 4 pm then.
Mr. Landau:
Thanks for being there, Doctor.
Dr. Balis:
Take care George.
