Roland Wolff is a man with a vision. He took his family and fiercely
moved across oceans and continents to bring them to his favorite spot on
Earth, San Francisco. Never was a man as passionate about a city as Roland
is about this one. If one ever has a question about a street location or
an historical detail, Roland would happily supply the information in any
level of detail (excruciating detail is preferred). Yet he hardly remembers
that he has two children and a wife. Our opinions and presence surely did
not affect his decision to move from his homeland, family, my mom's life
work (the restaurant), my school, Rene, Jeorge's art school and violin teacher,
our language and culture, and all of our friends. But I guess everything
that happens happens for the best, right?
